It doesn't feel like that long since I was active on DA. But I guess it has been, eh? Woah. I've been doing a lot of painting, but I keep that in another gallery.

I got a new computer! I had internet issues for the first two weeks so I named him Mute. I thought it appropriate. Also, he has no imaging programs aside from paint. It's weird not being able to use photoshop. I'm getting some programs put on here as soon as I can.

Other news?? and I have dug up an old comic idea that a friend of mine and I had come up with years ago but never formally started before we lost touch. Sandriver and I put a new spin on it and I'm in the midst of character designs right now.

I love making up new characters. It's one of my favourite aspects of the whole comicking process. There are angels and demons and gods and goddesses involved, so I'm just having a blast.

We have to be careful, though, because sandriver and I feed off each other and I have a feeling we'll tend to get carried away quite easily.

If nothing else it promises to be an entertaining diversion.

I'll refrain from typing anything seasonal on here for fear that I'll forget to update my journal for another six months or so...

I can't believe we're already into December. I can't believe Christmas is so freaking close. What happened to my autumn, damnit?

This whole snow and cold business is completely uncalled for.

I just realised that NaNoManGo month is coming up and I think I might want to try that out this year. I have an idea or two that I'd need to flesh out first, but yeah.

hmm...

So I'm still on the farm, still sitting in the middle of a highspeed internet blind spot. I'm holding onto the faith that one day we'll get noticed by the gods of wireless, but for now I take a book with me to the computer desk and read it while I wait for pages to upload.

Also, and Jess have officially moved out. I get the feeling things are going to be even quieter now than they were before...

Will the stunning lack of distractions lead me to draw more? Or will I continue to slothfully ignore the enticment of the art desk sitting in the corner? Only time will tell.

Who else is having a hard time waiting for August 2 to roll around?
